The Company

A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Team You Can Count On

Ten years delivering for federal programs, led by a team with more than two decades of combined industry experience.

The concept for Synergy Business Solutions traces its roots to 2004, when PG Gordon launched SBS on a foundation of Navy technical support. In 2016, Synergy Business Solutions formed when PG partnered with Ann Korsak to formalize and expand the organization into the SDVOSB it is today.

The track record, the relationships, and the trust Synergy has earned across the defense contracting community speak for themselves. Our founding partners remain active in the business alongside a leadership team that brings decades of additional military service and senior federal consulting experience. Together, they carry forward the processes and performance that defined the first 20 years.

Synergy's portfolio now spans a team of technical talent across software development, data engineering, program management, ERP, audit support, and beyond.

MEET THE LEADERSHIP

Shawn Kilcoyne

President & Chief Executive Officer

Shawn brings the kind of leadership that doesn't announce itself, it just delivers. A West Point graduate and military veteran, he spent 17 years at Booz Allen Hamilton as a lead strategy consultant, senior program leader, and proven strategic planner, advising senior DoD clients and leading large, complex programs before taking the helm at Synergy. His experience spans enterprise technology delivery, program strategy, and operational transformation, and his collaborative leadership style resonates across teams and with clients alike. Shawn holds an MBA from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.

PATRICK “PG” GORDON

Founding Partner

PG built this firm from the ground up, and its roots go back to 2004. A U.S. Navy veteran with more than 20 years of service, he served aboard the USS Hayler and USS Virginia, rising to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer, before transitioning into technical leadership roles supporting Navy missions. Over the past 16 years, he has been the operational engine behind Synergy's growth. In 2016, he partnered with Ann Korsak to formalize and scale the organization, expanding its capabilities and deepening its reputation across the defense contracting community. PG brings deep technical and ERP expertise, hands-on client partnership, and the steady leadership that keeps complex programs running smoothly.

ANN KORSAK

Founding Partner

Ann is the strategic architect behind Synergy's business model and long-term direction. She began her career with a brief stint in the Peace Corps before joining Deloitte Consulting in 2005, initially working in audit. Recognizing that consulting was where her strengths aligned, she made the transition and built a lasting career grounded in financial rigor and operational excellence. With an academic foundation in Accounting and deep expertise in program management, she joined as a founding partner in 2016 and brought the discipline of enterprise consulting to Synergy from day one. Her ability to build lasting client relationships has helped shape the firm's reputation as a dependable, delivery-focused partner in the defense contracting space.

ZACH GRAY

Board of Directors

Zach brings more than 20 years of leadership across energy infrastructure, private equity-backed companies, and military service. A West Point graduate and Army veteran, he began his career on active duty with the 25th Infantry Division, serving during the Global War on Terror with deployments across the Asia-Pacific region. He has since served as a founder, Chief Financial Officer, and corporate development leader within Fortune 500 energy companies, leading major mergers and acquisitions, shaping capital strategies, and guiding organizations through significant growth and transformation. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. At Synergy, Zach's deep experience in financial strategy, governance, and value creation gives the firm a strong advisory foundation for its next phase of growth.

Our Story in a Symbol

Our logo is a tribute. Rooted in our founder's Navy career, including service aboard the USS Hayler and USS Virginia, it draws from the earned rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. The clean lines, the forward form, the disciplined detail: all of it reflects the values that shaped PG Gordon's 20 years of service. The same values that have guided Synergy from day one.

Built on service. Driven by a standard that doesn't waver.
