Position Overview
We are seeking a mid-level ERP Financial Analyst to support financial operations for Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This role is responsible for leveraging ERP systems to support project accounting, financial reporting, and compliance within a government contracting environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, hands-on ERP experience, and an understanding of government contracting financial requirements and audit standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis and reporting for DoD programs within the ERP system
Support project setup, revenue recognition, and cost tracking in compliance with contract requirements
Maintain and validate financial data integrity across ERP modules (projects, GL, billing, etc.)
Generate and analyze reports for program performance, cost variance, and forecasting
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and DCAA requirements
Support audits (DCAA/DCMA), including documentation and system data validation
Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracts, and Accounting teams
Assist with system enhancements, testing, and process improvements within the ERP platform
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
3–6 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or project accounting
Experience supporting DoD or federal government contracts
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
Knowledge of:
Project accounting principles
Government compliance standards (FAR, DFARS, DCAA)
Secret security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Prior experience supporting audits (DCAA/DCMA)
Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Cognos, or similar)
