Position Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to design, develop, test, and support modern software applications and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable applications, developing APIs, working with cloud platforms, and collaborating within Agile development teams.
This role is a hands-on engineering position focused on delivering high-quality software solutions using modern development frameworks, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications, microservices, and APIs
Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver technical solutions
Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
Build and support RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and system integrations
Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents
Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated test cases
Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure initiatives
Create and maintain technical documentation and system designs
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
5+ years of software development experience
Experience developing modern web applications, APIs, and distributed systems
Proficiency in one or more of the following:
Java
Python
TypeScript
Node.js
Experience developing and consuming:
REST APIs
GraphQL APIs
Web Services
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Experience using Git-based source control systems
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments
Secret security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud-native development on:
AWS
Microsoft Azure
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience developing microservices-based architectures
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
Experience building event-driven applications using messaging platforms
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Understanding of secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles
Experience supporting government, defense, or highly regulated environments
