Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced UiPath Test Automation Developer to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) SAP S/4HANA implementation operating within an Agile SAFe environment. This role is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test assets that validate SAP business processes, system integrations, configurations, security, data conversions, and end-to-end functionality.
The ideal candidate will work closely with government stakeholders, system integrators, functional and technical SMEs, interface teams, and UAT teams to develop scalable automation solutions that improve test coverage, accelerate regression testing, and support release readiness across the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks using UiPath Test Suite
Translate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and manual test cases into reusable automated test assets
Support functional, technical, configuration, security, Fiori, integration, negative, regression, exploratory, UAT, and end-to-end testing activities
Develop automated test cases for SAP business processes, interfaces, data conversions, and integrated systems
Configure test data, checkpoints, validations, exception handling, logging, evidence capture, and reporting within automated test solutions
Execute automated test suites, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and distinguish application defects from automation issues
Maintain requirements traceability within the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Document test results, defects, corrective actions, and retesting activities
Participate in defect triage sessions and support root cause analysis and regression testing efforts
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, reporting, and test evidence collection
Assist with release readiness assessments, entrance and exit criteria validation, and production deployment support
Support UiPath Orchestrator scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
Collaborate with government stakeholders, system integrators, functional and technical SMEs, interface teams, security personnel, and the Government UAT Lead
Required Qualifications
3+ years of UiPath development or test automation experience
Experience with UiPath Test Suite, UiPath Studio, and UiPath Orchestrator
Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA testing initiatives
Experience automating testing for SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, web applications, interfaces, and integrated systems
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, requirements traceability, and test lifecycle processes
Experience supporting integration, regression, negative, UAT, and end-to-end testing
Ability to analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe environments
Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
UiPath Certified Professional certification
Experience supporting Department of the Navy (DoN) or other DoD ERP modernization programs
Prior U.S. Navy experience or experience supporting DoD/Federal, business systems, or financial and logistics processes
Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP security testing, and interface validation
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, SAP Solution Manager, or similar test management tools
Experience supporting SAP data migration and conversion testing
SAFe, Agile, or software testing certifications
